    Immigration & Global Mobility Lead

Copenhagen · Employment type flexible — full-time, part-time, or consultant

TL;DR: We are hiring an Immigration & Global Mobility Lead to own the employee relocation experience: work and residence permits, housing, settling in, local registrations, and ongoing support. Our platform handles the repetitive work; your expertise ensures the cases are right and the experience is good.

    The role

International relocation is fragmented. Employees deal with housing providers, relocation consultants, immigration specialists, local authorities, moving companies, and HR teams, often without one person accountable for the overall experience.

Dimmi brings the full relocation process into one platform and one team. As our Immigration & Global Mobility Lead, you will own the delivery of mobility services, from work and residence permits through housing and settling in, and make sure relocating employees and their families experience a smooth transition from offer acceptance to settled life in Denmark. Immigration is the foundation of every relocation: you will oversee permit cases in the platform, ensure applications are correct and complete, and keep employers and employees informed about status and timelines.

The role combines customer success, destination services, operations, and product. You will coordinate expert partners where needed, guide employees through the process, and improve how relocation is delivered through automated workflows.

You might come from a destination service provider, a relocation agency, a university international office, an in-house global mobility team, an immigration consultancy, or a customer-facing operations role. What matters is that you have personally supported international employees through relocations.

    What you'll own

    • Immigration & permit casework — Coordinate Danish work and residence permit cases from start to decision: selecting the right scheme, reviewing applications drafted by the platform, handling submission to SIRI, and following up with authorities, employers, and employees along the way.
    • End-to-end destination services — Own the relocation experience from pre-arrival to settling in: housing, temporary accommodation, moving, local registrations, banking, CPR, tax onboarding, and ongoing support, working with specialist partners where needed.
    • Employee & family support — Act as the main contact for relocating employees and their families, before arrival and during their first months in Denmark.
    • Partner coordination — Manage relationships with housing providers, movers, immigration specialists, municipalities, tax advisors, and other service partners.
    • Relocation programme design — Help customers build scalable relocation programmes, from their first international hire to company-wide policies.
    • Operations & automation — Improve how services are delivered: refine workflows, identify bottlenecks, and contribute to the development of the platform.

    What we're looking for

    • Experience delivering destination services or relocation support for international employees.
    • Experience coordinating Danish work and residence permit processes, or solid familiarity with them.
    • Good knowledge of the practical side of relocating to Denmark, including housing, registrations, and coordination between multiple parties.
    • Experience managing external vendors and working with HR, legal, finance, and public authorities.
    • Interest in using technology to improve operational processes.
    • Professional English; Danish is a strong advantage.

    Nice to have

    • Hands-on casework experience from SIRI, an immigration consultancy, or a law firm's mobility practice.
    • Familiarity with Danish tax, social security, or cross-border employment considerations.
    • Experience designing relocation or destination service programmes.

    What we offer

    • Flexible terms: full-time, part-time, or consultant, depending on your situation.
    • A platform that automates repetitive work so you can focus on the quality of each relocation.
    • The opportunity to help define how relocation services are delivered.
