Dimmi receives Lighthouse funding
2 December 2025

Dimmi has received funding from Lighthouse, the University of Copenhagen's innovation centre, to build a proof-of-concept platform that makes immigration compliance effortless for companies.
Why we are building Dimmi
Companies hiring internationally face a growing maze of immigration rules, permit requirements, and compliance obligations. HR teams, global mobility managers, and legal advisors spend countless hours navigating fragmented information, manual workflows, and shifting regulations.
The tools available today were not designed for this complexity. Information lives in scattered PDFs, outdated guides, and siloed government portals. The result is wasted time, costly errors, and unnecessary risk.
Dimmi is being built to change that. By combining deep legal research with modern technology, we are creating a platform that brings clarity, structure, and confidence to every step of the immigration compliance process.
What this funding means
The Lighthouse funding allows us to take Dimmi from research into a working product. Over the coming months, we will develop and test our proof-of-concept platform with early partners — validating that our approach delivers real value to the teams who need it most.
This milestone is a strong signal of confidence from the University of Copenhagen in the commercial potential of our work. It brings us one step closer to launching Dimmi as an independent company.
What comes next
We are now focused on building, testing, and iterating alongside early users. If you work with international hiring and want to be part of shaping a better way to manage immigration compliance, we would love to hear from you.
